How do I figure out what’s going on at PodCon 2?
There are a couple ways to find out what’s happening around you at PodCon 2. You can look through our agenda at podcon2.sched.com, or you can walk around the event and read the signs posted next to each room. To be extra super-duper up-to-date, follow us on Twitter @PodCon.

Where is the thing I’m trying to go to?
Scroll up on this page and click on the link to see PodCon 2 maps. Each programming session will have a room number or name next to it, so cross-reference that with the map and you’re good to go!

Where do I pick up my Swag Bag or other campaign perk?
If you purchased a Swag Bag or have another Indiegogo campaign perk to pick up, you can do that at the PodCon booth inside the Expo Hall. Thanks for supporting us!

Is there WiFi?
Yes, free WiFi is available at the convention center. However, with a few thousand people trying to connect at once, please keep in mind that it may not be the best.

How do I share my experience at PodCon?
Tag everything with #PodCon2. That includes your, Facebook posts, tweets, Instagrams, and anything else!

How can I meet some Featured Guests?
We have two different types of Meet & Greets at PodCon. Some of these were allocated ahead of time, and some of these are available on a first-come first-served basis. Please check out Sched for more information!

Where can I score a delicious meal?
There are plenty of options around the convention center, and you can check out the map in your guide for those locations. There are also a few food options in the PodCon 2 Expo Hall, located in Hall 4B&C.

I’m a parent/guardian. What should I do all weekend?
If you have purchased a PodCon 2 ticket, you can hang out with your child or go to content to learn more about podcasts (if your child is under the age of 13, you must accompany them at all times). If you don’t have a PodCon 2 wristband, you will not be permitted inside the main event.

Where is the lost and found?
If you have found a lost item, please bring it to the PodCon Info Desk, located in the Atrium Lobby at the Washington State Convention Center. If you have lost an item, please go to the Info Desk to see if it has been returned!

But, wait, what if I lost my wristband?
If you lose your wristband, it will not be replaced, and without your wristband you will not have access to PodCon event spaces. Don’t lose your wristband! This is your final warning!

DOs and DON’Ts

DO have a great time! Check out the Expo Hall, panels, live podcasts, workshops, and all the other fun things there are to do at PodCon 2.

DON’T do anything that would force us to have to kick you out. We really do not want to do that. Be smart and have a good time. Think about how your actions impact others. If you do something not so smart, we will be sad. Things that are not very smart include: harassing other people, damaging or destroying property, stalking, trespassing, anything illegal, and so on.

DO respect other people’s boundaries. Please show common courtesy to other attendees and Featured Guests by being respectful of others’ personal space and feelings. Walk, don’t run. Be sensible and safe in your enthusiasm!

DON’T hesitate to let us know if you see any not-smart things happening. We want PodCon 2 to be a safe space for everyone. If you witness someone doing something that’s not safe, please tell us. There are volunteers and staff everywhere who want to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you see anything worrying or dangerous.

DO come prepared. Make a plan for what you want to see and do at PodCon 2. Sched lets you customize your personal schedule, so be sure to download it and take some time to pick out those can’t-miss panels and activities. Thoroughly browse the agenda, because there’s a lot going on! Also: wear comfortable shoes. Bring snacks. And...

DON’T forget to eat! Or sleep! Take care of yourself. We know that PodCon 2 is packed with fun times and there is so much going on, but food and slumber are very much required for you to have the best time possible. There are a number of options for food in and around the convention center. Plan breaks into your schedule for meals and rest. Get some sleep. And, most importantly—HYDRATE, FEEL GREAT.

DO make friends. We’re here because we all love podcasts. So take this unique opportunity to meet new people—you’ve already got a lot in common with them.

DON’T wear your wristband on your belt loops, hanging from your purse, or anywhere other than around your wrist any time you’re in PodCon 2 spaces. We don’t replace lost wristbands, so wearing it around your wrist is the way to go!

DO dole out the high fives (with people’s consent)! Thumbs up all around! Thank a volunteer. Compliment a new friend. Be rad.

And lastly...

DON’T forget to be awesome!
